Purchasing crystal chandeliers for your home can make your home look more elegant, but if you don’t clean it properly, it won’t work as well as you would hope.

So, it may seem daunting to clean crystal chandeliers for a couple of reasons. The first reason is because they are often high up. The second reason is the fact that they are delicate.

Follow these steps for a clean, brilliant chandelier:

• Set up alternative lighting – This may seem like an obvious step, but make sure you have another light source set up since you won’t be able to use you crystal chandeliers while you clean them.
• Make sure the chandeliers power is turned off – Safety is key and if the crystal chandeliers are turned on, it can be dangerous for you.
• Cover bulbs – You should cover the bulbs with sandwich bags.
• Put a sheet below – Put a sheet below the crystal chandeliers to catch liquid from falling on your floor.
• Mix it up – Mix up a solution that is made up of one part isopropyl alcohol and three parts water. Spray the solution on, then allow your crystal chandeliers to drip dry. Take off the sandwich bags and you are done.
