Crystal Chandelier Tips
A glare-stopper: Put the fixture on a dimmer and then supplement
the room lighting with sconces, table lamps or recessed lighting.
If you want a trendy look for your chandelier consider buying colored
shades. These are easy to find and fairly inexpensive and are easily
changed when the times do!
Chandelier cleaners, which are sold at lighting stores, will make
your life much easier if you have a crystal fixture. (Just be sure
to protect any surface underneath when you clean.)
Things to keep on hand if you own a crystal chandelier: miniature
lamp shades that are interchangeable for special occasions or just
to change with the seasons, chandelier cleaning fluids (you can
buy professional or even glass cleaner will do the job), spare light
bulbs (you don’t want to ruin the look of your crystal chandelier
by having burnt out light bulb, keep a few on hand for emergencies).
